What happens next?

We will acknowledge all student applications as received and will begin the review process on the deadline closing date, December 31, 2013. We will inform you if you have been chosen by February 10, 2014. We will be contacting all applicants with our decision, so please refrain from making any phone calls, or sending any emails to CGCF during the selection process. We thank all applicants for their interest in the Gene Researcher for a Week program.

Selection Process
Please note we do not provide individual assessments to applicants. Each application will be reviewed under the guidance of a set criterion of which academic marks are only one part of the assessment.  The number of placements is restricted both by funding and the number of placements available. Placements are dependent on labs who both have staff available to supervise students and who meet the programme's host lab criteria.
