Every single donation plays a key role in helping Canadian scientists discover important genetic links in a variety of diseases including diabetes, Down's Syndrome and cancer. In 2007, we were able to provide four research grants totalling $280,000 to research teams investigating new treatment options for highly debilitating genetic diseases including: Gaucher's disease; vitamin B12 deficiency; mitochondrial disease; and cystinosis.
